By the time this posts up on the blog Sarah will be holding her bundle of joy in her arms.
I can’t wait to find out if this munchkin’s name!!!! We’ll soon find out, and I will capture him with some very cool new props in the next few weeks!

Sarah’s Baby Bump

June 2, 2010

Yesterday was full of yummy baby goodness. First I got to play with Ryanna, then with Sarah’s baby bump! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Sarah for a few years when we were all in the midst of planning our weddings together. This summer she gets to welcome her new baby boy into the family. I can’t wait to meet this little guy (I bet Mom and Dad are just a wee bit anxious too! hehe)

We took a few indoor shots before heading out into the rain :p

I can’t tell you how much i am LOVING the outdoor maternity shots! Just so natural and connected with nature

I particularly like this “Mom’s Eye View” shot!

Katie first saw my work when I did her friend Katie’s maternity photos last year.
2 Katie’s, 2 awesome maternity shoots! :)

I had a blast with Katie and her husband Ben when they came out to see me last week.
We did some studio shots, and then headed outdoors for some gorgeous field shots.
The day was beautiful…. right until we went outside. Then it started to POUR rain!
We did as much as we could before calling it a wrap. You’d never know until the end that it was pouring out.
Thanks to Katie and Ben for being such troopers standing out in the rain for me.

After seeing her photos, Katie sent me the most amazing email… I just have to share it with you!

Carol-Ann, you are the most amazing talented photographer I have EVER come across!!!
The pictures are absolutely stunning – exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to recommend you to all my friends.
Thanks so much for capturing the memories of this special time in my life.
Sincerely,
Katie

How awesome is that?!?!??! I LOVE MY CLIENTS!

one of the last shots – it was raining pretty darn hard by this point!

and i just had to include this one – they were having so much fun!!!

It’s back to Business for me!

All of my portrait sessions are done before WEDDING SEASON officially begins – woohoo!
Today I met up with Amy and her gorgeous family for the first session of the Watch Me Grow Package (Maternity, newborn, 6 month and 1 year photos!)

It’s been tough trying to get back into the swing of things with my vertigo, but every day I’m getting better and better.
I was so thankful for Amy and her family for coming out to Richmond today for their session – it was PERFECT!
Her son is probably the cutest little guy EVER! Just before we were finished he was pointing to my car saying “In! In!”
I took the hint that he was done playing, and that it was time to go ;)

Here are a few teasers from their session this morning..
we started off the morning indoors for some studio shots:

After that we headed out to one of my new randomly favourite locations ;)

(I had to post this one! it really captured the essence of the little man. Tough and Adventurous!)

This morning I had the pleasure of meeting up with Natasha and Kyle from Alberta!  They’re in town to take in the sights of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games.  Natasha is currently 21 weeks pregnant with their baby girl – who has sooooooo many adorable name possibilities! We spent a great morning out at Iona Beach & the area around the airport taking photos.  Here’s a sneak peek with lots more to come soon!
