I have never… EVER met a kid more relaxed than Lachlan. His mommy Sarah kept telling me how laid back he was, how he was such a good sleeper, and I thought she was just saying that NO WAY, this is the most chill baby I have EVER had the pleasure of photographing! Usually newborn sessions are, well… a pain! Crying, peeing, pooping, more crying, waiting…. snapping a ton of shots once we get the post just right…. and there goes the first hour Lachlan’s 3+ hour session was absolutely amazing – I didn’t want to stop! He was like a little doll Although, in the full post I will make sure to tell you about him pooping on my hand Ahhhhh the hazards of the job! :p

Toady I got to meet beautiful Ryanna for the first time. She was so tiny and so incredibly PERFECT!
I think she’s gonna be quite the chatterbox when she’s older, with her constant coos and grunts
She was the perfect baby during the whole session which made my job a piece of cake!

Selena and I go way back… wayyyyyyyyy back.  I’ve known Selena for almost as long as I have been alive

We met somewhere around 1986 or 87.  I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session way back in April 2008, their wedding in June 2008, and family photos in April 2009.   It’s just so fitting that in March 2010 I had the pleasure of photographing the newest additions to their family – Cody and Islay!

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Caitlin and her Mommy and Daddy.
This was the first OF MANY modeling sessions in this young girl’s career.  She was born to be in front of the camera!

Believe it or not, she didn’t even cry once.  UNREAL.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of getting together with an old friend from high school – Sara.  She had just had her first little boy Owen 10 days ago.  I had a blast catching up, and photographing this adorable little man.  What a great family – I can’t wait to watch Owen grow up with such a loving Mommy and Daddy!  A few quick teasers from the shoot:
