I had the pleasure of spending an evening out in Steveston with Katie & Dave a few weeks ago. They were ROCKIN’ it! I think I can safely bet that Katie’s favourite TV show is American’s Next Top Model. She had the model stare down to an art! Here are – just a few – of my favourites from the session. I can’t wait to photograph their garden wedding next year!

That was the theme of the wedding day – lots of hugs, lots of kisses, and a big ‘ol celebration!
I had the pleasure of photographing these two, and their families during their wedding this past August.
I was VERY impressed with Aberthau Mansion (West Point Grey Community Centre) It was a BEAUTIFUL Tudor style mansion with so much character!
I was LOVING Laura’s dress!
Here are the criers in the family! haha Laura and Her mom teared up on more than one occasion
I never knew signing the paperwork would be so emotional
heheh All kidding aside, it was a beautiful moment between the bride and her mother.
The Beautiful Bride…. who was willing to do just about anything!
(and the heat that day? OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!)
I am absolutely in love with this graffiti set of images! We randomly stumbled across them while out at the beach/peir!
Onto the Reception. Laura & Oliver had some great things planned! Talk about a fun reception!!!! There were sheets of paper on each of the tables with markers… And the goal was to pick somebody at your table and draw a portrait of them. A great little ice breaker! Boy – this guy really does look like Mr. Happy
This was the runner up – A PHOTO OF ME! woohoo
I thought the “old still while I shoot you” was pretty ingenious!
Their AWESOME choreographed first dance!! BRILLIANT!
This was the theme of the night. Great friends, and LOTS of good times!
Thank you so much for allowing me to tag along and photograph the best day of your lives!!!! You two are bound to live together in happiness, and lots of laughs and giggles!
Amber & Mark
October 2, 2008

Amber & Mark were very traditional. The “vintage” look really worked well with their images!
WOW!

After the ceremony we headed out to the Hart House for photos and the reception on the lawn. As always, the place was looking SPECTACULAR!

I loved Amber’s idea of a “picnic” set of photos. Lovely relaxed images!

The boys were hamming it up!

Amber’s beautiful Mehndi. It’s so awesome seeing cultures come together in very special ways during a wedding celebration!

A candid moment caught during the Bride & Groom’s first dance. I love the look on their faces!

Their VERY COOL and exceptionally choreographed bridal party dance! What a hoot!
