Archive for January, 2009

Back in December I became the proud new Mama of a baby girl…
Her name is Paisley, and she’s our adorable black lab :P

She’s provided our family with hours of entertainment, tons of cuddles, and a few pee stains.
I couldn’t ask for a better photo prop!!!!

Instead of boring you with photos of her here, I’ve created her very own
DOG BLOG!

I will now proceed to be the gushing first time mom, and post a few of my favourites from the last month :)

2009 – Year of the Baby!

January 25, 2009

I have to admit…. This is getting pretty crazy. I can’t wait for statistics to come out regarding how many babies will be born in 2009. It seems EVERY DAY I found out someone new is expecting. It’s absolutely incredible! Get ready for a lot of maternity, and newborn shots in 2009!!! I’ve been busy buying new props, and getting lots of new ideas – It’s going to be a big year! :D

My first maternity session for the year was for Erin.
Her and hubby are expecting a baby boy in February. He’s sure to be the next Canadian Hockey Star!!!

The Olsen Kids

January 19, 2009

I remember back in when my neighbours brought home this adorable little red-headed baby girl… in 1992.
Next thing I know, she’s graduating high school. It’s amazing how fast time flies!!!

These trendy kids contacted me to get some unique photos for their mom, instead of the typical school portrait. We hit the streets of Pitt Meadows on a VERY foggy afternoon this past weekend.

The fog took away from the beautiful landscapes, but made for some very cool photos as well.

Krista & Co.

January 4, 2009

I can finally post this session – WOOHOO!
Krista contacted me back in November to do a photo session of her and her brothers as a Christmas present for their very special mother.
We braved the cold (and little did I know that a few days later I’d get Pneumonia!) to do an awesome little shoot in a few of my favourite places in Steveston.

They wanted to incorporate a photo of their late grandfather into the shoot, so they brought along a framed photo of him. How awesome is that?!?!

Don’t they all have the most amazing blue eyes!?!?!?
