Caleb – Helping Hearts

I’d like you to meet the most amazing little man named Caleb, and his beautiful family from Cache Creek. Caleb was born at 34 weeks this past February. He was born with an undiagnosed neuromuscular disease and life hasn’t been easy for him, or his family. He has spent his life at Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, and unfortunately his condition hasn’t been improving. His Mom Amanda contacted Helping Hearts this past week. Helping Hearts is an amazing foundation started by Michelle Regner and Melissa Knowles that provides free photography sessions for families with children who are suffering a life-altering illness or disability. I know I could write more, but please take a look at the photos. I feel they speak louder than anything I could ever say. Please keep Caleb and his family in your thoughts.

If you know anyone who would benefit from a session from Helping Hearts, please urge them to fill out the application form on their website.

Taren - Carol-Ann you are an amazing person!

Monique Napier - Those photos are beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I wish the family all the best.

Sara - Oh my Carol-Ann

What an amazing foundation idea. That little boy looks so sweet and I hope only the best for him and his family. Beautiful photos.

Camillia - Thinking of Caleb and his family.

Jenn Wessels - beautiful set. I just had my 1st 2 sessions back-to-back yesterday, and it was tough. I just kept thinking how precious these photos would be for them to look back on years down the road, whatever the outcome of their stay at the hospital. Hang in there, know that you’re doing something that can never be put into words for those families…

Vancity Vendor: Carol-Ann Photography | Vancouver Wedding Photographer | Vancity Bride - […] I hear you have been quite involved with the community and charitable organizations, can you tell me about them and why you chose to be involved? “Last year I joined a very special group called Helping Hearts. We provide free photography sessions to families that have a child with a disability or is suffering from a life-altering illness.  My first session was for a little boy named Caleb. Unfortunately, only a few days after the session Caleb gained his angel wings. It was the most heart wrenching photoshoot I have done, but also the most rewarding.  These photos are all the family has to remember their special little boy. I am so honoured to have provided that for them.” Read more about Caleb on her blog. […]
